Studio Green, a premiere production and distribution house is back with one of the biggest releases of the year, Kanguva. The film promises a plethora of entertainment with grand visuals and a never-before-seen story.
While the makers have kept the audience hooked with its posters and songs, they recently held a grand audio launch where the entire cast and crew gathered under one roof. The event was a spectacular phenomenon, graced by megastar Rajinikanth, who sent a video message to the team.
Rajinikanth heaps praises on Gnanavel Raja
In the video, he praised Gnanavel Raja and his vision, saying, "Gnanavel knows everything about cinema. He knows how to promote a film."
Rajinikanth mentioned “Although I have done just one film with him, I developed a bond with Siva as if we’d done 25-30 films. He has a beautiful mind and calm voice, and genuinely understands what people need when they come to the theatres,” He also spoke about Siva’s skillful approach to filmmaking, saying, “Actually, during the filming of Annaatthe, I spoke to Siva, and asked if he could write a period film for me. He was pumped up about it too, and I definitely thinkKanguva was written for me. It then reached Gnanavel and Suriya,”

Suriya and his thirst to do something new
Rajinikanth also spoke about Suriya's father in, as they had worked together on multiple projects. He said “He is a thorough gentleman, who is intelligent, honest, and immensely respectable. Suriya has imbibed all those qualities,” said Rajinikanth, adding, “From his first film, Suriya has this thirst to do something new. Yes, it is still within the commercial cinema format, but Suriya wants to do something really different. I wishKanguva is a massive success for Siva, Gnanavel Raja, and Suriya.”
Kanguva is the biggest and most expensive film of this year. The film will release on 14th November, 2024. With an estimated budget of over 350 crore, it’s bigger than the likes of Pushpa, Singham, and several other big films. Moreover, the film has been shot across seven different countries on various continents of India. The makers had a very specific look in mind, as this is a very unique film showing the prehistoric period. The makers hired experts from Hollywood for the technical departments like action and cinematography. The film has one of the biggest war sequences, featuring over 10,000 people. Studio Green has signed up with top distribution houses to release the film on a massive scale across the globe.
