Actor-director Raj B Shetty, known for his distinctive style, appears in a humorous role in the upcoming Kannada movie 45, directed by popular music director Arjun Janya in his first-ever directorial venture.
Raj B Shetty’s ‘45’ teaser
The teaser for Raj B Shetty’s character was recently released, giving fans a glimpse of his comedic and quirky style.
The teaser opens in black and white, where Raj B Shetty’s character, dressed in corporate attire, is confronted by two rowdy figures, who brandish knives in an attempt to intimidate him.
Displaying his unique comedic timing, Raj B Shetty responds with, “Don’t try to touch me, my brother sent me to karate class when I was young,” and proceeds to demonstrate his ‘karate skills.’
Fans have speculated that the two rowdies attempting to scare Raj B Shetty may be none other than Shivarajkumar and Upendra, as their knives feature symbols hinting at their iconic roles—one with a chain bearing the ‘Om’ symbol and the other a trident.

Three big stars
The film, 45, produced by Ramesh Reddy of Suraj Production House, stars three of Kannada cinema’s biggest names: Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B Shetty.
Arjun Janya, known for his successful career as a music director, not only directs the film but also composes its music. While details of the storyline remain under wraps, the teaser hints that Raj B Shetty's character may have a humorous yet edgy past, possibly hinting at a former life of rowdyism before entering the corporate world.
The shooting for 45 is complete, with post-production currently underway. The film is expected to release in a few months. Meanwhile, Shivarajkumar fans have another treat on the horizon as his upcoming movie Bhairathi Ranagal is set to release soon on November 15, with 45 expected to follow shortly after.
