The ticket prices for the Spain vs Netherlands Davis Cup tie have gone through the roof after ace Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal announced that it will be his last professional appearance. He is all set to hang up his boots after the tie, where he features alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Roberto Bautista Agut, Pablo Carreno Busta and Marcel Granollers.
Nadal has competed the past two seasons with injuries and said that November's Davis Cup finals will mark his farewell to the sport. He had hip surgery last year and entered just two of the past eight major tournaments.
Nadal's unrelenting style of play meant that he etched his name among the greatest ever of the sport and will finish as the player with the second-most number of major titles, only behind Djokovic.
