Ingredients required to make Punjabi Fried Chicken
For the marination
6 chicken drumsticks
Salt to taste
½ tsp pepper
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
For the filling
1 cup grated Paneer
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp Corian powder
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped coriander
Other ingredients
2 eggs
2 cups bread crumbs
Oil for frying
For the masala cream
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp cashew paste
¼ cup water
½ cup cream
Salt to taste
1 tsp chaat masala
Method to make Punjabi Fried Chicken –
Take the ingredients for the marination in a bowl & milk well.
Now make a cavity on the top part of the drumstick & keep it aside.
For the filling, mix the ingredients in a bowl till combined, add 2-3 tsp of the filling & keep ready.
Now dip the stuffed chicken legs in whisked eggs & coat with breadcrumbs.
Deep fry the drumsticks till golden & remove
Now for the sauce, heat oil in a pan & fry the masala, add the cashew paste, cook for 2 mins, and add water & season with salt & chaat masala.
Once cooked, add the cream & reduce the heat, mix well & toss the fried chicken k. Thai masala
Remove & serve hot with chutney.
