Pune: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a generally cloudy sky with light rain in Pune today. Residents can expect the maximum temperature to reach around 30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will drop to about 21 degrees Celsius. The cloudy conditions may persist throughout the day, bringing occasional showers. It’s advisable to keep an umbrella handy, as the light rain could continue intermittently.

Pune Weekly Weather Forecast

The weather forecast for Pune indicates a consistent pattern of cloudy skies and light rain throughout the week. Starting from September 14, residents can expect generally cloudy skies with light rain and temperatures ranging from a minimum of 21 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 30 degrees Celsius. On September 15, the maximum temperature will rise slightly to 31 degrees Celsius, while the weather remains cloudy with light rain. This pattern will persist into September 16, with temperatures hovering between 22 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees Celsius.

As the week progresses, more rain is expected on September 17 and 18, with temperatures ranging from 21 degrees Celsius to 30 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius, respectively. The consistent cloud cover and frequent rain showers will provide a respite from the heat, but residents are advised to prepare for rainy conditions throughout the week.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced a decrease in rainfall intensity across Maharashtra, offering relief after several days of heavy downpours. While many areas have seen light to moderate rain in recent days, the IMD predicts a further reduction in rainfall across the state. As per reports, isolated regions in the Satara and Pune districts may still experience heavy rain, leading to a yellow alert being issued for those areas.
