The Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years was revealed in the Indian market last month. However, at the time, the German automaker did not announce the price of the new version of the sports car for India. This changes now, as the brand has revealed that the car will be priced from Rs 4.05 crore (ex-showroom) in the country. The model has been introduced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first 911 Turbo. To make the model exclusive, the brand will only make 1,974 units of the model.
When compared to the Turbo S, the 50 Years model is costlier by Rs 7 lakh. Meanwhile, the price difference increases to around Rs 1.26 crore compared to the Carrera 4 GTS, and the number is pushed further to over Rs 2 crore when compared to the 911 Carrera. The 50 Years and the Turbo S are based on the 992.1 generation. Meanwhile, the 911 Carrera and the Carrera 4 GTS are based on the 992.2 generation of the 911.

To show the exclusivity in the design, the car gets sports vinyl graphics on the side inspired by the Porsche 911 RSR Turbo concept's livery. The brand has also added a turbo badge and logos on the puddle lights and the rear engine cover grille. The consumers also have the option of a retro-themed Heritage Design Package which comes with the option of Aventurine Green Metallic paint with satin white graphics. There is also a 1964 Porsche crest visible on the Sport Classic wheels and even more prominently on the bonnet. Another highlight is the Turbo 50 and Porsche logo finished in gold.
The interior of the 911 Turbo 50 Years edition showcases seats and doors upholstered in timeless Mackenzie tartan, with the exterior color extending to interior accents. The Heritage Design Package just like the exterior is finished in green for the instrument cluster dials and the Sport Chrono clock.
Similar to its predecessor, the 911 Turbo S, the 50 Years edition is powered by a 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six petrol engine delivering 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Porsche states that it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 2.7 seconds and has a maximum speed of 330 kmph. Notably, the power output of this special edition model surpasses that of the original 930 Turbo, which debuted in 1974, by more than twofold.
