Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Maharashtra on Saturday, where he will inaugurate the Colaba-Bandra-SEEPZ Mumbai Metro Line 3, the city’s first fully underground metro system . Alongside this, he will launch several key development initiatives across sectors, spanning infrastructure, agriculture, and urban development.

- Mumbai Metro Line 3 Inauguration
PM Modi will open a 12.69-kilometre stretch of Line 3, between Aarey JVLR and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), with a flagging-off ceremony and an interactive ride from BKC to Santacruz.
- MetroConnect3 Mobile App Launch
A new app designed to improve passenger experience with advanced features.
- Mumbai Metro Coffee Table Book Release
The Prime Minister will unveil a visually rich book chronicling the metro’s development journey.
- PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi (18th Instalment)
Rs 20,000 crore will be disbursed to 9.4 crore farmers, bringing the total disbursed under the scheme to Rs 3.45 lakh crore.

- NaMo Shetkari Mahasanman Nidhi Yojana (5th Instalment)
Rs 2,000 crore will be distributed under this farmer welfare scheme.
- Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Projects
Over 7,500 projects valued at Rs 1,920 crore, including custom hiring centres, cold storage, and post-harvest facilities, will be dedicated.
- Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs)
9,200 FPOs with a combined turnover of Rs 1,300 crore will be inaugurated.
- Unified Genomic Chip and Indigenous Semen Technology
PM Modi will launch the Unified Genomic Chip for cattle and indigenous sex-sorted semen technology.
- Solar Parks Inauguration
Five solar parks with a total capacity of 19 MW will be dedicated under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.
- Elevated Eastern Freeway Extension Foundation Stone
A major connectivity project between South Mumbai and Thane, valued at Rs 3,310 crore.
- Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) Project
Phase-1, worth Rs 2,550 crore, including infrastructure like roads, bridges, and flyovers, will be initiated.
- Thane Municipal Corporation Administrative Building
Foundation stone laying for a Rs 700 crore high-rise building to centralise municipal offices.
