Palak Sindhwani, who plays the role of Sonu Bhide in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been in the news for her contract issues with the makers of the show. Times Now/Telly Talk India was the FIRST to get in touch with the actress and take her reaction regarding the makers planning to take legal action against her for allegedly breaching the contract. At that point in time, Palak said that she has not received any legal notice from the makers and slammed the portal for publishing the news without taking an official quote from her. And now, a new report suggests that Palak Sindhwani has threatened to quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah after the makers sent her a legal notice.
Palak Sindhwani to quit TMKOC?
Asit Kumarr Modi’s Production House, Neela Film Productions has issued a formal legal notice through Anand and Naik to Palak Sindhwani for breaching the contract. The makers accused her of unauthorised third-party endorsements and appearances without taking written consent from the officials of her ongoing project.
The TMKOC makers alleged that the actions of Palak Sindhwani has caused significant harm to the character, the show and the production company. Despite multiple verbal and written warnings, these violations continued, infringing upon the exclusivity clause and undermining the integrity of both the character and the series. As a result, Neela Film Productions has been compelled to take formal action.

The report also suggests that Palak Sindhwani has responded to the legal notice with the intent of quitting the show. The production house has disputed the allegations levelled by Palak Sindhwani. The makers have also sought compensation for the damage caused to them and the show. After the news came out, we tried contacting Palak Sindhwani, but she remained unavailable for comment.

For those who’ve come in late, in an earlier interview with us on the same matter, Palak Sindhwani had said, “The report is absolutely baseless and rubbish. How can they write such stuff without any quote from my side? Other actors also do the endorsements. There is nothing that happened between me and the production house.”
