Riding on Kamran Ghulam's debut century in the 1st Test against England, Pakistan fought off early setbacks as they finished day one with 259 runs on the board. The Multan track has shown some promise for the spinners and Pakistan will hope to capitalise on this surface. But they will have to battle the England bowlers first as England already showed in the last Test what they are capable of.
