Paris Olympics 2024 Day 12, Live Updates: Golfer Aditi Ashok is off to a strong start in Round 1 of Women’s Individual Stroke Play. Aditi, a silver medallist from last year’s Asian games, was Tied 3rd after 12 holes. A day after assuring a medal for India, wrestler Vinesh Phogat was disqualified ahead of her gold medal match of Women’s 50kg event at the Paris Olympics 2024. Vinesh was 100 grams overweight on the morning of her gold medal match and will not win any medal. In women’s 53kg wrestling, Antim Panghal also lost her Round of 16 bout to Turkey’s Zeynet Yetgil. She will now have to rely on repechage round for a chance to win a bronze if Zeynep manages to reach the final.
