A massive fire broke out in Oakland, California at a residential area on 25th Avenue on Sunday afternoon. Large plumes of smoke was seen in the air and locals shared photos and videos of the fire on social media.
Oakland Fire Department said that at least 40 firefighters are at work to extinguish the blaze. No injures have been reported so far.
The Oakland Fire Department said in a statement on X that approximately 40 fire fighters are on scene battling the blaze. Four structures have been impacted by the fire and the electricity wires on 17th Street are down as a result of the incident.
