In 2023, communal violence broke out in Nuh district, which led to the arrest of Mamman Khan for his alleged involvement in the riots. Nuh's Superintendent of Police (SP), Narendra Bijarnia, officially filed charges against Khan for allegedly provoking the violence. Bijarnia stated that during the investigation, the cops uncovered substantial evidence implicating Khan in inciting the unrest, and it was revealed that Khan was present at the scene before the violence began.
