NTR and Jahnvi Kapoor are promoting their upcoming film Devara which is slated for release on September 27, 204. Meanwhile, in one of the interviews, speaking to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, NTR revealed that they never wanted to make Devara in two parts. He also explained the reasons that prompted them to make the Koratala Siva directorial in two instalments.
‘Devara World Is Very Big’
“We never had the intention of making Devara into two parts. But going deep into it, when we started shooting, we realised there were so many characters to be explored. We felt one part was enough for me to convey to the audiences what Bhaira (his character in the film) actually is,” said NTR.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Character
NTR further added that even Janhvi Kapoor’s character, Thagam, has a beautiful love story and arc. “Janhvi’s character is not just a love story because we need to have aromantic track in the film. Her character is completely women into Devara as a movie. So, Part 2 is going to be a delight,” NTR further added.
India’s International Acclaim
NTR said that it is India’s time to be up there and show the world what Indian film is about and our technicians. “We have waited for a very long period, and I think it’s our time to show what Indian film, and we are no less than any technician up there. I think we are getting there,” NTR revealed, stating that Devara’s music composed by Anirudh Ravichander has international appeal.
