The IPL 2025 is set to be one of the exciting ones in recent times as it sees the mega auction make its return for the first time since 2022. The 10 teams have announced their list of retained and released playes, and some of the biggest names will now go under the hammer as the event unfolds in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 (Sunday) and 25 (Monday). Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul will be among the top picks at the auction and are expected to go at a hefty price. However, former RCB and SRH pacer Dale Steyn has predicted his countryman to become a Rs 10 crore player.

Dale Steyn Predicts Marco Jansen To Be Sold For Rs 10 Crore

In the fourth T20I against India, Marco Jansen shined with both bat and ball. He took 1 wicket for 28 runs in the first innings, when the Indian batters were going berserk and scored 219. With the bat, he almost took the game away from India as he scored 54 from just 17 balls. He created history by slamming the fastest half-cenury in T20Is against India.

In a post on his X account, Dale Steyn said that he feels that Marco Jansen would definitely be sold for at least 10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

“Marco Jansen. A 10 crore player? I’d say so," the legendary fast bowler wrote.

Dinesh Karthik Predicts Gerald Coetzee To Fetch Fat Pay Check

In an interaction with Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik said that Marco Jansen's fellow South African all-rounder Gerald Coetzee will fetch a fat pay cheque in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He called him a thinking cricketer and someone who has worked on his batting.

"I don't know much Cricket South Africa board are paying him but I am sure he will take a fat pay cheque in a couple of weeks time. He is impressing one and all. He is a thinking cricketer, he is someone who has worked on his batting. He is not just a one-trick pony," he added.
