Maruti Suzuki recently launched the Swift in the Indian market. Since then, the launch of an all-new Dzire has been anticipated. The brand's representative in the compact sedan segment from House Arena has been around for quite a while now and needs an update. Reacting to the necessity, the manufacturer is prepared to launch the updated version of the car on November 11.
Based on the previously leaked images, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will have a completely refreshed appeal in terms of design, emitting an aura of a rather premium vehicle. Departing from the image of being a twin of the Swift, the Dzire in this iteration will have a completely new identity. However, these differences will be limited to aesthetics.

The pictures of the car leaked earlier revealed a completely new front fascia. Contributing to this are design elements like new sleeker headlights with a horizontal slat grille and a new bumper. Furthermore, the bonnet has also been redesigned. The brand has also given the car a new set of alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the rear end also has a new design with wrap-around LED tail lights and character lines making things better.
This generation of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire further differentiates itself from its predecessor with the presence of a massive sunroof. Additionally, the cabin will feature upholstery with lighter shades. The list of features will include elements like a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and analog instrument cluster with MID.
Powering the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z-series engine that the brand is using in the Swift. This unit in the hatchback is tuned to produce 82 hp of power and 112 Nm of peak torque. In its CNG-powered versions, the numbers see a change with the power pushed to 69.75 hp and 101 Nm. The gearbox options include an AMT and MT.
After its launch, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire will compete with models such as the Tata Tigor, Hyundai Aura, and Honda Amaze. Given these factors, we can anticipate that the car may be priced higher than the previous version, which has a starting price of Rs 6.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
