Audi earlier announced that the brand will have 20 new launches between 2023 and the end of 2025. As part of the process, the brand is preparing to release the teaser for the next generation of Q5. This official event for the unveiling of the vehicle will be on September 2. Along with the new SUV, the brand is also expected to reveal a Sportback version of the sloping roofline.
In the first teaser, the brand has revealed the design of the new headlights for the new generation of the vehicle. Based on the picture, the light follows the signature style of the brand with a slim shape and a sharp design with DRLs with some gaps between them. The brand has also placed a projector unit on the lower part of the headlamp. At the same time, the bumper seems to have a design that seems to be an aggressive and sportier look for the SUV.
The brand is yet to reveal the other details of the next-generation Q5. Along with this, the SUV is expected to upgrade its interiors with a dual-screen infotainment system which will be inspired by the Q6 e-tron. The 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and the 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment.
The powertrain details for the upcoming Q5 haven't been disclosed yet. However, it is expected to have petrol and diesel engines featuring 48V mild-hybrid technology. Additionally, we expect at least one plug-in hybrid model. The top-tier variants will come standard with Audi's Quattro all-wheel drive system, while the lower-end trims will be front-wheel drive.
