The internet has come out in Deepika Padukone’s support after ex-cricketer Yuvraj Singh allegedly made unsavoury comments on her. In a recent interview, the former Indian national cricket team player hinted at his past relationship with the Kalki 2898 AD actress.
Without naming anyone, Yuvraj recalled the period when the Indian team was facing off against Australia in the famous test tour of 2007-08. In the interview, Singh claimed that the actress, allegedly Deepika, followed him to Canberra while she was shooting for a film in Australia.

What did Yuvraj Singh allegedly say about Deepika Padukone
In the interview, Yuvraj said, “I was dating an actress, I won’t name her; (She is) very good at the moment and very experienced. She was shooting in Adelaide. I told her, listen, let’s not meet for a bit because I’m on Australia tour, and need to focus. She followed me to Canberra on the bus. In two Tests, I didn’t get many runs. And I was like, ‘what are you doing here?’ And she was like, ‘I want to spend time with you’.”
He further added that the ex-girlfriend packed his luggage as the team was leaving from Adelaide to reach Canberra for the match. Singh also claimed that the actress packed his shoes too. When he searched for them and couldn’t find them, she asked him to wear her ‘pink slip-ons’. Yuvraj said he had to wear them to the airport until he purchased a new pair.
