In an interview with Indian Express, Nawazuddin showed how dedicated he is to being there for his kids. He said, “As soon as I wrap up a film, I head straight to Dubai." He added, “Whether it’s five days or ten, whatever break I get, I go to Dubai,”
While in Dubai, Nawaz takes on full dad duties, making sure to do the school runs and spend quality time with his kids, something he misses due to his packed schedule. “I drop them off and pick them up from school. It’s my way of making up for the time I lose. I love being a hands-on dad when I can,” he shared.

Nawaz's daughter Shora gives him constructive criticism of his work
Shora, his daughter, is already planning to follow in his footsteps, aspiring to become an actress. “She wants to act,” Nawaz revealed, though he’s cautious about her watching his films. “Most of my movies aren’t age-appropriate for her, but there are a couple she can see. I think Costao is one she’ll enjoy.”
And Shora doesn’t hold back when it comes to giving her dad feedback. With a laugh, Nawaz shared, “She always tells me, ‘Papa, don’t even think of dancing. You’re way too stiff!’”
After nearly splitting with his wife Aaliya, the family has since relocated to Dubai for a more stable life and better education for their two kids, Shora and Yaani.
