Nandamuri Kalyanram's upcoming action thriller #NKR21 under the direction of Pradeep Chilukuri will be high on action. The team commenced new shooting schedule in Vizag with the lead cast taking part. Besides a high-octane action sequence, the team will also film scenes on Vijayashanthi, Srikanth, Saiee Manjrekar and Prithviveeraj.

A working still released by the makers from the set captures Kalyan Ram deep in thought as the production team attends to their tasks. With this ongoing 15-day schedule, major part of the movie will be completed. Sohail Khan plays a significant role in the film which has screenplay written by Srikanth Vissa.
Climax Worth Rs 8 Crore Shot For 30 Days
Recently, the makers shot the climax sequence in a specially designed set by art director Brahma Kadali on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The sequence not only features the prominent cast but also nearly 1000 artists who participated in the shoot. The crucial segment was filmed over a period of 30 days.
To create the dramatic and immersive environment needed for the scenes the filmmakers invested a whopping – with the climax alone costing Rs 8 crore. This marks the highest budget for a single episode in Kalyanam's career to date. The episode represents a significant investment in both financial and creative resources. The film that has high-octane action sequences features Vijayashanthi in a commanding role as an IPS officer.
