Gwalior: A 45-year-old murder convict out on parole was shot dead in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh by two aides of Canada-based gangster Arshdeep Singh Dalla. The shooting incident, captured on a CCTV camera, occurred on Thursday. The victim, Jaswant Singh Gill was undergoing life imprisonment in a 2016 murder case.
The two accused have been arrested and were also allegedly involved in the killing of Sikh activist Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau in Faridkot, Punjab last month.
The incident took place in Gopal Bagh City, also known as "Form For Colony" in Dabra, Gwalior, where Jaswant Singh Gill, recently released on parole, was attacked while out on an evening walk. In the video, Gill was seen talking to two people outside his house when the two accused arrived on a motorcycle. One of them shot him, continuing to fire until he was certain Gill was dead.
The assailants fled the scene, and the police later arrested them in Kharar, Punjab's Mohali district. Investigations have revealed that Arshdeep Singh Dalla, a designated terrorist, ordered the killings.
