Meet Tanu Shree, an IPS officer who cracked Union Public Service Commission, UPSC CSE in first attempt. Cracking UPSC is a dream for many, but only a few are able to achieve it through their hard work and dedication, Tanu Shree is one of them. She appeared for the UPSC exam in 2016, and secured a position as an IPS officer. However, the journey for her was not that easy as she got married while preparing for the exam and managed her married life as well.

Tanu Shree was born on 24 April 1987 in Bihar, India and completed early schooling in Motihari, Bihar. She completed her 12th grade at Bokaro's DAV Public School and went to Delhi to prepare for competitive exam.

Tanu Shree began her career as an assistant commandant in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in 2014. She got married in 2015 and faced challenges of balancing household responsibilities for preparing for the UPSC exams. At that time she learned to manage household responsibilities with her aspiration to crack UPSC, and despite the challenges she faces, her hard work paid off.

Tanu Shree credits her parents for all her achievements.Her greatest source of encouragement has always been her father, a former DIG. Her sister works as a commandant in the CRPF, and was always there to support her.

Tanu Shree's incredible journey inspires many people. She is an inspiration to many aspirants because of the way she managed personal life while achieving her goals. Her journey from being a CRPF officer to becoming an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer shows her strong determination and hard work.
