Rep Matt Gaetz resigned from Congress on Wednesday hours after President-elect Donald Trump tapped him as the next attorney general. The Florida congressman's decidion reportedly came days before the House Ethics Committee was preparing to release a report on sexual misconduct and drug allegations against him. However, these are not the only controversies Gaetz faces. The 42-year-old's roommate at Florida State University was reportedly found dead 'under suspicious circumstances' while the two were undergraduate students.
While neither Matt Gaetz nor any authority has made a formal statement about the alleged incident, the Florida Rep is facing heat on social media. According to an article onintrepidreport.com, sources close to the investigation said ‘that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigated the death as a possible homicide but the agency was later politically-pressured to rule it a suicide’.
