Mahindra & Mahindra has been rigorously testing its upcoming electric vehicles in the Indian market. The upcoming vehicles will be sold under the new Born Electric brand, based on the brand's new platform and will follow its new design language. Among these line of vehicles is the BE.05, which has been spied testing multiple times. Adding to the list are the latest spy shots of the vehicle revealing interior and exterior details.
Based on a video shared by Automobile With Bruce on YouTube, the EV is expected to get two distinct faces depending on the variant. To be specific, the lower-spec versions will come with a circular projector LED headlamp complemented by LED DRLs. Meanwhile, the version on the other higher side of the list will come with a C-shaped LED DRL and a sleek LED headlight setup. The current spy shots reveal the design of the higher-spec version.
The car in the pictures seems to have a muscular bonnet with a rather angular design that will make it stand out. Additionally, compact-sized vehicles get flush door handles which fit with the overall edgy design. The rear end of the vehicle adds to its unique appeal with a dipping roofline representing that of a coupe. However, it has more edges than a normal coupe. All of this is complemented by aerodynamically designed wheels wrapped in low-profile tires. The brand seems to have placed the charging socket on the rear left side of the EV.
The video also gives a sneak peek at the cabin of the EV. The first thing that catches attention is a new two-spoke steering wheel design with a backlit logo. Additionally, the car gets two screens to function as an instrument cluster and an infotainment system. The brand seems to have left a pronounced gap between the driver and the passenger seat.
