Pune: The city is all set to contest in the assembly polls on November 20. The main political alliances, the Mahayuti and the Maha Vikas Aghadi, have released their manifestos in an effort to win over as many voters as possible. Notably, this election marks the first time the assembly polls will take place after the split of the Shiv Sena and the NCP.
A few days ago, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during an election rally, unveiled the BJP's vision for Pune. Highlighting the city as a hub for startups, the party announced that, if elected to form the state government, it would heavily invest in encouraging startups and other key projects, including metro expansions.
