maa kasam kha le, nahi lega: rishabh pant, kuldeep yadav's epic stump-mic banter goes viral: watch

Rishabh Pant returned to red-ball cricket after a gap of 21 months during the first round of matches in the 2024 Duleep Trophy. The star Indian wicketkeeper batter was part of the India B line-up led by Abhimanyu Eashwaran that beat India A at the M Chinnswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

Pant is not just among the best wicketkeeper batters in world cricket in the longest format but also a proper entertainer. When he is on the crease, he ensures that every fan is on the edge of their set, but there is no shortage of fun when he is behind the wickets either.

Pant is known as a chirpy keeper who is always active on the stump-mic, and that was the case during today's match during the Duleep Trophy match too. Kuldeep Yadav, who was playing against Pant and part of the India A team but is the 26-year-old's teammate for the Indian team as well as the Delhi Capitals, was the subject of some hilarious banter with Pant.

On hearing Pant's commands, Kuldeep replied, stating that he would not take a single. “Kha le Maa kasam Nahi lega (Take mother swear that you will not take a single),” said Pant.
