Even months after the finale ofLovely Runner, the hit K-drama continues to get traction owing to its humongous popularity. Already ranked as one of the most successful and fan-favourite Korean shows of 2024, the rom-com has now landed in the kitty of hip-hop group Epik High.
The band, that's gearing up for its Seoul concerts by the year end, is using unique marketing technique to promote their shows. It is making parody posters of popular titles, and after copying the movie Exhuma, they have now done it with Lovely Runner.

Fans react to Epik High's parody poster of Lovely Runner
Their second parody had band members Tablo and Tukutz dressed up as the main characters of the show, Sunjae and Im Sol, played by actors Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Hye-yoon respectively. The aim is to make the audience aware about the concert dates and other details.
The poster has gone viral on social media with fans having fun around its recreation by Epik High. While one user revealed they almost choked their food laughing, another one wrote, "What is this???!??? As always, Epik High being extraordinary creative for their concert’s poster. Can’t hold my laugh."
Many even revealed they had to double check the poster with the original one, that's how convincing the remake was. "I did a doubletake. Looking good, you two!!! Almost as good as the og poster," read a reaction.
VARO Entertainment reacts to the poster
Band member Tablo revealed his group was scared of getting sued. But it seems relieving for them after the director of Byeon Woo Seok's agency VARO Entertainment liked the poster and also added it to his social media story, tagging the actor.

In August, Korean Olympic athletes, diver Kim Suji and fencer Oh Sanguk enacted the viral height difference clip that Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye-yoon had posted on social media prior to the show's release in April this year.
