Rain threat looms large on India vs New Zealand 1st Test in Bengaluru. The weather forecast in the city is not great for the day and the play has been delayed due to rain. Rain is predicted on all five days of the test. Speaking about the hourly weather forecast for Day 1, there is over a 50 percent chance of rain between 1 PM to 3 PM. The forecast was for clear weather in the first hour but unfortunately, rain arrived early. There was heavy rain yesterday as well. The schools and colleges in Bengaluru have been closed due to heavy rain. The good news is that Bengaluru has a great drainage system and play can start within 30 minutes of rain stoppage.
