A representative for the president-elect said on Wednesday that a number of people chosen for important positions in Donald Trump's future government received bomb threats and were swatted. Law enforcement reacted quickly after the targeted operations, which took place between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning.
Trump transition team spokesman Karoline Leavitt called the events “dangerous acts of intimidation,” including swatting and bomb threats, which are bogus crime reports intended to trigger an armed police response.
