Lebanon was hit by a fresh wave of communication device explosions Wednesday after pagers used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon and Syria exploded a day before. The Lebanese health ministry has said that at least 14 people have been killed, so far, after walkie-talkies, radios and solar devices exploded across Lebanon today.
Lebanon and Hezbollah have both pointed fingers at Israel for the attack that has so far killed at least 26 people and injured over 450. CNN reported citing unspecified sources that Tuesday's pager attack was a joint operation by Israel's intelligence, the Mossad and the Israeli military.
However, Israel has not yet commented on the matter, despite several media requests. Meanwhile, the US has said that they have been briefed by Israel on the attack, but further details were not provided.
