Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood. He has a huge fanbase and all his movies break records at the box office. SRK was recently seen in Atlee's Jawan and it made the box office go gaga crossing Rs 1000 Crore gross.
Shah Rukh will be next seen in King, along with his daughter Suhana Khan. He is all set for another action hit directed by Sujoy Ghosh, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand. Reports have emerged indicating that the father-daughter pair is gearing up to start filming in January 2025.

BIG Update on SRK-starrer King
A source told Bollywood Hungama that since the makers want to shoot for the film in specific weather conditions in Europe, they intend to start King in January 2025. Having said that, SRK wants “to make King a spectacle for the big screen.” Therefore, he is working hard with the director as well as the producer to ‘get the script and action sequences right.’
The source also revealed that the makers are thinking of a 2026 release. It was also mentioned that the upcoming action-thriller will be a full-length two-character film played by SRK and Suhana. They will be joined by Abhishek Bachchan as the antagonist.

On the work front
While talking at the 77th Locarno Film Festival held this year, the Pathaan actor officially announced being part of the movie. He said in a viral video, "The next film that I am doing is King. I have to start working on it, lose some weight, stretch a little so my groins don’t get caught while I am doing action.”
Shah Rukh Khan had three hit last year, Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. Suhana too made her Bollywood debut with Netflix's The Archies directed by Zoya Akhtar co-starring Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina among other.
