King is set to bring back Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen. Its is a Hindi lamguage film which is directed by Sujoy Ghosh Kahaani and creatively produced by Siddharth Anand of Pathaan fame. SRK's own banner through Gauri Khan are also attached as co-producers.
According to SRK, it is a "cool, massy, action, emotional film." King is already among the most awaited Hindi lamguage films in the coming year. The

King reportedly also stars his daughter Suhana Khan in a pivotal roles. Apart from her, it will feature actor Abhay Verma who was seen in Munjya. Speculations are rife that Abhishek Bachchan is set to play a negative character for the first time on such a huge canvas. It will be a special role and Siddharth Anand plans to present him in a never-seen-before avatar, insiders claim.

Shah Rukh Khan has previously collaborated with Abhishek and Sujoy in 2021 thriller Bob Biswas. It was produced by his Red Chillies banner along with Sujoy, and had Abhishek in the title role.
King: Release Date
King is expected to go on the floors in November 2024, and aim for a relese sometime in 2025. Though nothing has been announced from t he makers' end so far.
