At an event celebrating her 25 years in the industry, Bebo admitted that the amazing energy she had with her co-stars in movies like Jab We Met, Omkara, and Asoka contributed significantly to her career. She thanked the co-stars and stated, “I have to credit a lot of my films to my co-actors. Actors bounce off each other’s energies. In great films like Jab We Met (co-starring Shahid Kapoor) and Omkara, we’ve always bounced off each other’s energies.”
She added, “Whether it was Aamir (Khan) in 3 Idiots, you also need to take from them. So I also want to take this opportunity to thank all my actors in all these wonderful films. Without them, none of these films would be what they are, whether it's Jab We Met, Omkara, or Asoka (co-starring Shah Rukh Khan)."
Reflecting on her journey, Kareena opened up about Omkara, where she nailed her role as Dolly. She had high hopes for her performance to steal the spotlight but was shocked when Saif Ali Khan’s Langda Tyagi took center stage. Kareena laughed about how she’d invited directors like Mani Ratnam to a special screening, expecting applause, but the room couldn’t stop raving about Saif. “I thought they were there to praise me, but suddenly, all eyes were on Saif,” she joked.
