'jungle raj hai...': arvind kejriwal claims law & order has 'collapsed' in delhi

New Delhi: AAP Leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday, claimed that law and order has collapsed in Delhi. His statement came in response to the recent series of firing incidents targeting commercial establishments in the past 24 hours. AAP leader stated that people are feeling unsafe in the national capital.

Kejriwal took to X (formerly Twitter), and said, "Law and order has collapsed in Delhi. There is a complete jungle raj. People are feeling unsafe in the country's capital. "

Talking to Home Minister Amit Shah, he said, "Delhi's law and order comes under Amit Shah ji. He will have to take effective steps immediately."

In the past few days, there have been multiple firing incidents in the national capital, including attacks on a second-hand luxury car showroom, a sweet shop and a hotel. The cops have been suspecting that these attacks might be linked to extortion attempts by the criminal gangs.

AAP leader and minister Saurabh Bharadwaj stated that the Delhi Lieutenant governor is on a foreign trip, accusing the BJP MPs of being absent. In a post on X, Bhardwaj stated, "Rise of Gangs & Gangsters in Delhi. Firing for extortion at Nangloi Sweet shop. Firing for extortion at Naraina Car showroom. 3 crores worth Jwellery looter at Gulabi Bagh. Shots fired at Mahipalpur Hotel. LG saab on Foreign trip, BJP MPs missing."

During the Delhi assembly session, AAP MLAs raised concerns over law and order in the state, stating that several traders and business owners were inundated with extortion calls from various gangs on Friday. They criticised the capital police for their inaction, alleging that the public no longer trusts law enforcement.
