Telangana Minister Konda Surekha commented that BRS working president KT Rama Rao played a role in the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. Her statement is turning out to be highly controversial and it seems to have drawn the wrath of the film industry. ‘Dragging Personal Lives Into Politics Is A New Low’
Jr NTR who is presently basking in the glory of blockbuster Devara came out sharply. In his reply to the Kona Surekha’s comments, Jr NTR stated that dragging personal lives into politics is a new low. Being public figures and in a responsible position, the superstar asked the Minister to maintain dignity and respect for privacy.
“Konda Surekha garu, dragging personal lives into politics is a new low. Public figures, especially those in responsible positions like you, must maintain dignity and respect for privacy,” posted Jr NTR on X.
‘Won’t Sit Quietly Over Baseless Allegations’
Jr NTR went on to say that it is disheartening to see baseless statements (Konda Surekha’s comments) being thrown around carelessly, especially about the film industry. “It’s disheartening to see baseless statements thrown around carelessly, especially about the film industry. We will not sit quietly while others make baseless allegations against us.”
On a concluding note, the RRR star said that everyone should raise above such things and ensure our society does not normalize such reckless behavior. “We should rise above this and maintain respect for each other’s boundaries. Let’s ensure our society does not normalize such reckless behavior in democratic India,” posted Jr NTR.
