Jennifer Lopez is resorting to alcohol post her split with ex-husband Ben Affleck. As per reports, her friends are concerned about her ways of washing off the pain. JLo and Ben filed for divorce this year after going through a rough marital patch for months.

RadarOnline quoted a source saying, "The fact she needed booze in her belly before her latest meeting with Ben kind of says it all. She appears to be self-medicating and unable to handle the raw reality of this divorce without some type of pick-me-up."
"She used to only drink socially, but now it's a bigger part of her daily routine and the cocktails she mixes up are apparently lethally strong," the source added.

Jen and Ben spent the weekend together
Jennifer and Ben were sported together last weekend, along with their kids from individual previous partners. They even shared a kiss giving hope to their fans about a reconciliation. But eventual reports stated that they met for their kids and that the former couple was on its way of moving ahead in life.
"J.Lo was not prepared for this breakup. She genuinely thought they would work through their troubles, but Ben just threw in the towel and walked. He's left her totally wrecked," the outlet further quoted the source.

Jennifer-Ben relationship history
Jennifer and Ben were first engaged a decade ago but they ended it in January 2004. While they maintained a friendly rapport over the years, they sparked dating rumours again in April 2021 when JLo parted ways with former MLB star Alex Rodriguez.
The couple made their relationship Instagram official in July 2021 before going hand-in-hand at the Venice Film Festival the same year. They tied the knot at a Las Vegas wedding in July 2022. The estranged couple however announced divorce on August 20.
