Actor Jayam Ravi, who is all set to star in director M Rajesh's film Brother, has reclaimed his Instagram account from former wife Aarti Ravi.
Reports state that Aarti Ravi has been managing his social accounts over the years.
Jayam Ravi reclaims Instagram account from Aarti Ravi
As per Jayam Ravi's team, the actor has got access to his Instagram account and is now in complete control of it.
It is said that during their marriage, Aarti Ravi was instrumental in managing his posts and content on his feed. However, he has taken ownership of it after he announced that Aarti and him are no longer together.
Now, Jayam Ravi's feed doesn't contain pictures of him and his former wife anymore. His first post after reclaiming the account came with the caption "the new me".

A few months ago, Aarti Ravi deleted pictures of Jayam Ravi from her Instagram account fueling news of their rift.

Jayam Ravi on separation with wife
Taking to the press about his divorce to the press on September 21, Jayam Ravi said “I sent a divorce notice and Aarti’s father acknowledged it. The issue was discussed in the presence of my parents and Aarti’s parents.
His official statement on Instagram about his separation read , "After much thought, reflections and discussions, I have taken the difficult decision to proceed with the dissolution of my marriage with Aarti. This decision was not made out of haste, and it stems from personal reasons that I believe are in the best interests of everyone involved (sic)."
Jayam Ravi and Aarti married in June 2009. They are parents to two children, Aarav and Ayaan. On September 9, 2024, the actor officially announced his separation from his wife.
