The poster for your first pan-India film Jatadhara has elicited quite a positive response?
I'm thrilled to see the excitement building around our film. The poster's reception exceeds our expectations, and it's fascinating to witness the theories and speculations unfolding. I think it's safe to say we've piqued the audience's curiosity, and now the wait begins. Get ready for a journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
Supernatural thrillers are quite the flavour of the season. Is that what attracted you to this project?
Honestly, I don't create content based on trends. What excites me is the depth and potential of the story itself. The supernatural genre offers a rich canvas for exploration, but my primary focus is on crafting narratives that resonate with me personally and offer a unique experience for the audience. While it's heartening to see the genre doing well, my driving force remains the same: to tell stories that spark curiosity, ignite emotions, and leave a lasting impact. Trends come and go, but authentic storytelling transcends genres and fads.
So what do you think would make Jatadhara stand out?
With our current project, I'm more excited about pushing the boundaries of the mystery-fantasy thriller genre, subverting expectations, and delivering an immersive experience that lingers long after the credits roll.
How is it working with Prerna Arora?
I'm absolutely loving working with Prerna. She's not only knowledgeable and enthusiastic but also genuinely cares about telling meaningful stories that resonate with audiences. Her passion for filmmaking is contagious, and her expertise helps bring our vision to life. It's a pleasure to collaborate with someone who shares my commitment to creating impactful cinema.
Who is going to be your co-star in Jatadhara?
Youl will hear the announcement soon. I've had the pleasure of working with talented actresses like Shraddha Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari in the past, and I'm looking forward to this new collaboration. Our team is working hard to ensure our project resonates with viewers pan-India, and I think this pairing will help us achieve that goal.

How different is it working in the South as compared with the North?
Working in the South and Bollywood isn't vastly different, just like how a cricketer adjusts to a new pitch. The fundamentals of acting remain the same – commitment, dedication, and passion. The difference lies in the regional nuances, work culture, and audience preferences. Just as a cricketer adapts to the Mumbai pitch after playing in Hyderabad, I adjust to the unique requirements of each industry. The core of my craft remains unchanged: immersing myself in the character, understanding the story, and delivering my best performance. The slight variations in approach and culture are exciting challenges, but the essence of acting remains consistent across regions.
