NTR has been aggressively promoting Devara: Part 1 that is slated for release on September 27. Meanwhile NTR and director Koratala Siva participated in an interview with Vishwak Sen and Siddhu Jonnalagadda. During their interaction, NTR shared interesting insights about Janhvi Kapoor and how the film Devara has shaped up.
Janhvi Kapoor Was Hospitalised
Talking about Janhvi Kapoor, NTR described her as a phenomenal talent. “She has put in a lot of effort, especially for the Daavudi song. She was hospitalised for 4-5 days before the song shoot was about to commence. After she was discharged, she immediately came to the film sets and rehearsed for two days. She was very weak but still she started working immediately and did a very good job,” revealed NTR. Janhvi will be a very good addition for Devara; and Koratala Siva wrote a very big love story, said NTR. “You can see some in Part 1 and the totality will be very different altogether in Part 2.”
Janhvi Kapoor Manifested
Apparently, Janhvi Kapoor was determined to do the film and NTR shares an interesting anecdote of how she manifested things. When NTR and Koratala Siva were discussing the leading lady, both had been looking for options although they felt that Janhvi would be an interesting choice. “Even we wonder how she came on board. Koratala was still writing the film and Janhvi said that she wanted to do the film. Finally, both of us coincidentally expressed only her name,” said NTR.
