Hollywood star James Earl Jones, the voice of Darth Vader, King Mufasa in The Lion King passed away at the age of 93.
Over six decades he worked with some of the greatest figures in cinema and theater, including Stanley Kubrick in his 1964 Cold War satire Dr Strangelove.

Empire State Building pays tribute to JEJ
He received a grand tribute as his iconic walk as the Darth Vader was displayed at the Empire Estate Building after his demise. The video was shared on social media by their official handle and in the caption, it was written, "May the Force be with you J. E. J."

In the video, as the Darth Vader walks, the Star Wars music is played in the background. Loud cheers can be heard as the late actor is paid tribute.

It was Jones who gave the Star Wars franchise some of its most memorable lines, including when he reveals to Luke Skywalker –- played by a young Mark Hamill -– “I am your father.”

Hamill, Jones' son took to social media on Monday to share news of Jones' death, writing simply: " #Rip dad" with a broken heart emoji.
Darth Vader's immense physicality was the result of the towering British actor David Prowse, the sinister voice that appeared to emanate from inside the reconstructed man-in-a-mask was Jones.
Jones laughed when a BBC interviewer asked if he resented being so closely tied to Darth Vader, a role that required only his voice for a few lines while another actor did the on-screen work in costume. "I love being part of that whole myth, of that whole cult," he said.
