Director Satya Prakash of Rama Rame Re fame has wrapped up the shooting of his next venture, which is uniquely titled as X & Y. The director is set to make his acting debut with X & Y. Known for exploring human relationships and social issues, Satya Prakash’s latest venture marks his return to filmmaking under his banner, Satya Pictures.

D Satya Prakash took to Instagram to share the update on hisX & Y.
“The cameras have stopped rolling but the excitement has just begun! It's a wrap on our X&Y film shoot! We are thrilled with how everything turned out and can’t wait to share it with all of you. Thanks to our amazing cast and crew for their hard work and dedication. Stay tuned for more updates,” Satya Prakash wrote.
Following the success of Rama Rama Re (2016), which bagged the Karnataka State Best Film award, Satya Prakash directed Ondalla Eradalla (2018). This film earned acclaim for its portrayal of national integration, receiving both the Best Film on National Integration award at the 66th National Film Awards and a Karnataka State Film Award. His most recent project before X & Y was Man of the Match (2022).

Comedy fantasy
His latest film,X & Y, promises to be a comedy and fantasy saga. Although details are scarce, the title references sex chromosomes, which determine gender in humans and many animal species: males have one X and one Y chromosome, while females have two X chromosomes.
The film’s music is composed by Kaushik Harsha, who had scored for Jaynagar 4th Block short film directed by D Satya Prakash.
