In retaliation to Iran's air strike on Israel, the IDF responded with strikes on early Saturday hitting Iranian military bases in the capital Tehran and other cities with missiles. This attack comes after the October 1 strikes on Israel following the death of Hezbollah chief, Hassan Nasrallah, when over 200 rockets and ballistic missiles barged into Israel. The strikes led to the closure of airspace in three countries: Iran, Syria and Iraq.

Iran, however, stated that the early morning strikes have "caused limited damage," but Israel claims to have "wider freedom" in Iranian skies. According to the FlightRadar24 data, an open-source flight tracking website, no aircraft is flying over these three counties. The flights in Iran will be resumed after the attacks, as per the media reports.
Israel launched airstrikes from the occupied Golan Heights and Lebanon targeting Damascus, prompting Syrian air defence systems to respond, stated Syria.
