Dubai, the UAE emirate that attracts more than a million British travellers every year, has become a questionable place of visit amid the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel. With many citizens waiting to visit the Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Mosque this winter, the UK Foreign Office issued a travel advisory. The list included: Egypt, Morocco, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Tunisia, Qatar, Oman and Jordan

Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO), in its guidelines, said: "Ongoing hostilities between Israel and Lebanon could escalate quickly and pose risks for the wider region. Monitor this travel advice and other media as the situation is changing fast."

The FCDO said: “There is a high threat of terrorist attack globally affecting UK interests and British nationals, including from groups and individuals who view the UK and British nationals as targets. Stay aware of your surroundings at all times.”

The FCDO said that targets could include restaurants, hotels, beaches and shopping centres, along with other public areas.
