As tensions between Iran and Israel rose this week, people across the world wondered if the situation in the Middle East will spark a World War. Indian astrologer Kushal Kumar, dubbed as the modern-day Nostradamus, had predicted in 2023 that in the final months of 2024, unexpected actions by rival forces might potentially result in significant financial repercussions for the United States and cause a global conflict.
Kumar had predicted two timeframes earlier this year, but a World War did not break.
Meanwhile, an expert told The Mirror that Iran's missile strikes on Israel are the first step toward World War 3. This comes after Tehran launched over 180 ballistic missiles at targets in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem on Tuesday. While most of the rockets were intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome, some hit buildings in the city.

The attack came after Israel launched an airstrike in Beirut that killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and several top officials of the militant group.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for the attack, as per the Tasnim news agency."In response to the martyrdom of Martyr Haniyeh, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah and Martyr Nilfroshan, we targeted the heart of the occupied territories." It continued, "If the Zionist regime reacts to Iran's operations, it will face crushing attacks."

Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service professor and the author of The New Rules of War: How America Can Win — Against Russia, China, and Other Threats, Dr. Sean McFate, told The Mirror that the tensions in the Middle East 'could widen into an out-and-out war between Israel and Iran'.
"We’re really at a dangerous crossroads right now in the Middle East — the most dangerous we’ve been at for a long time. We are on a path where the worst-case scenario could be something that looks a little bit like [World War III]. We’re not there right now, but we’re on the wrong path for sure," he told the media outlet.
However, the only factor preventing World War 3 is the 'general absence of nuclear weapons in most Middle Eastern countries', the report added.
