Meta-owned Instagram is down for the second time today and the third time in seven days. After a brief outage this morning around 10:00 AM, the social media app is now facing another massive outage globally, including in India. Downdetector, a platform that provides real-time information about the status of websites and services, reported over 600 complaints starting at 9:35 pm.
Many users worldwide are reporting issues with the Instagram app. Some users are unable to upload or watch Reels on Instagram, while others are reporting login issues.
According to the Downdetector website, 42 per cent of users reported server issues, while 33 per cent experienced app-related difficulties and 26 per cent faced login issues. Instagram has yet to release an official statement. While the cause of the outages remains unclear, users are hopeful that the platform’s team is working swiftly to resolve the technical issues that have disrupted service once again.
Third Instagram Outage Within 7 Seven Day
This is the third Instagram outage in just seven days and it is really frustrating for many users, especially those who rely on the platform for business or creative work. It raises questions about what might be causing these disruptions. Earlier on November 13, the Meta-owned app was down for millions of users across the globe.
