Young Mumbai allrounder Musheer Khan and his father Naushad shared a heartwarming message for BCCI, the Mumbai Cricket Association as well as fans for their wishes after both of them escaped a car accident on Saturday, September 28. The video was shared by Musheer's elder brother Sarfaraz on his Instagram story, as the duo thanked everyone for their concern.
Musheer is expected to be out of action for at least three months because of neck injuries he sustained in the accident, ruling him out of Mumbai's games at the beginning of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 season.
According to reports, Musheer was en route to Lucknow from Azamgarh, his hometown, for the Irani Cup starting on October 1 when his car met with an accident. Watch the video here:

Dr Bhola Singh, Medical Superintendent at Medanta Hospital, Lucknow, had said in a statement on Saturday that Musheer was out of danger.
The Mumbai Cricket Association had said that Musheer is 'stable, conscious and well-oriented'. The development comes as a blow for him who has already scored three hundreds and a fifty in nine first-class matches for Mumbai as well as for India B.
Musheer had started the 2024-25 domestic season with a century in the Duleep Trophy for India B against India A in Bengaluru earlier this month.
Mumbai begin their Ranji Trophy campaign against Baroda on October 11 in Vadodara.
