A recent incident involving a marriage party of 35 people who were about to miss their train showcases Indian Railways' dedication to customer satisfaction. Sri Chandrasekhar Wagh, a passenger, expressed his gratitude to the Railways for their prompt action, which enabled the group to board the Saraighat Express from Howrah station on time.

In a video shared on YouTube, Wagh thanked the Railways for their efforts, which was later reshared by Eastern Railway on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption: "Sri Chandrasekhar Wagh expressed his thanks to Railways for helping their marriage party of 35 persons to board the Saraighat Express from Howrah, as they were about to miss the train. IR made all arrangements so that they can board 12345 UP from Howrah station."

Chandrasekhar, in the video, said, “I'm getting married to a girl in Guwahati and I, along with my 34 relatives, were scheduled to reach Guwahati by November 16th. We boarded the Ganali Express from Kalan to H, and from there, we were to board the Sarat Express to Guwahati. However, due to a technical snag, the Ganali Express got delayed, and we would not be able to catch the Sarat Express. This was a major setback for us, especially since I was traveling with a large group of 35 people, including senior citizens aged 60 and above. Making arrangements for such a large group at short notice was a challenge. But we received tremendous help from the Minister of Railways and the Railway Department, who made prompt arrangements to ensure we reached H Junction before the departure of the Sarat Express. The Eastern Railway Department also made special arrangements for our transportation from platform 21 to platform 9, making our journey smooth and swift. I would like to extend my gratitude to the Minister of Railways, Indian Railways, and the Eastern Railway Department for their help and support.”
