The 1st Test between India and New Zealand will kick off on October 16 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. India have been very dominant on home soil and will look to take up their advantage against the Kiwis.

Bengaluru weather forecast for IND vs NZ 1st Test

The weather forecast for Bengaluru is not kind as far as the 1st IND vs NZ is concerned. The India Meteorological Department predicted that the city would witness rainfall throughout the week. Wednesday and Thursday are expected to be showered with possible heavy rains as a yellow warning has already been issued. For Friday, the alert will escalate to an orange one as further downpours are expected in the city.

In the first two days, there are chances of around 40 per cent of rain while on the third day could bring in more trouble with a chance of 67 per cent rain are predicted. On the first day humidity levels will hover around 98 per cent.

The temperature could touch the 26 degrees on October 16 with 100% cloud cover. The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium has a state of the art drainage system so it is unlikely to be an issue if there are slight to moderate rainfall during the match.
