Reflecting on her journey, she tells Zoom, “All the actors and directors I’ve worked with have inspired me in some way. But my role model is definitely Amitabh Bachchan. His punctuality, dedication, and way of accepting challenges are incredible. I worked with him in Thugs of Hindostan, where he was wearing a 100-kilo costume as a gang leader, and I was part of his gang. It was amazing to watch him closely and see how he delivers his performance with such dedication.”

Another actor who has left a lasting impression on her is Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Arun speaks fondly of their collaborations, saying, "I worked with him in Haddi and several other films. He’s passionate and hard-working. I’ve been fortunate to work with very sincere people, so my experiences have always been good.”

Despite the challenges that come with a dynamic career, Ila Arun remains grounded and motivated. "Highs and lows are indeed part of every profession, especially in acting. But if you're honest and in love with your art, you'll never feel depressed. You might have anxieties, but you'll never be depressed. The more challenges you face, the more you glow. The hardships bring a glow to your face. The ups and downs of not getting work are just a part of our freelance life. What's most important is how much you enjoy what you're doing. I'm very happy and thankful for my profession," she expresses with confidence.

As she continues to evolve in her craft, Arun is determined to keep dancing, acting, and singing for as long as she can. She declares, "This will continue until my last breath. If I get a chance to sing, I will always sing, as long as I can and as long as the audience accepts me. Acting will continue too, but I'll do roles according to my age. I started off playing roles for 16-year-olds, then 24, then 32, and so on. We have to be honest with ourselves and accept our limitations. I admire Usha ji, who continues to work respectfully and gracefully. We should do what suits our age, where we can do full justice, and stay honest to our work."

With her new role in Peechha Karti Parchhaiyaan, Ila Arun once again shows her commitment to her craft and her ability to bring depth and authenticity to every character she portrays.
