I Want To Talk Box Office Collection Day 1: Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited film finally hit the theatres on Friday (November 22). The film received amazing responses from the audience and critics alike but started slow at the box office.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk.com, the Abhishek Bachchan starrer minted Rs 0.25 crore on day one and it recorded the second-lowest opening of the actor's career. This marks his lowest debut in 20 years. However, with positive feedback from audiences, the film is expected to see better box office numbers in the coming days.

His previous lowest opener was Naach in 2004, which earned just Rs 42 lakh on its opening day. Another of his low-grossing films is Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, which starred his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and featured Salman Khan in a cameo, made only Rs 0.91 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk.com. The film was released in 2000.
Abhishek Bachchan's most recent film was Ghoomer, in which he starred alongside Saiyami Kher. The film was well-received critically but did not perform well at the box office, earning just Rs 85 lakh on its first day and a total of Rs 7.15 crore worldwide.
However, I Want To Talk has turned out to be the lowest opener for both Abhishek Bachchan and Shoojit Sircar.
