Hyderabad: A minor girl was strangled to death allegedly by her 20-year-old boyfriend whom she met on Instagram in Hyderabad. The accused was bothered with the girl as she used to speak with other boys, leading to frequent fights between them. Fed up by that, the man hatched a plan to kill the minor, but before that he would marry her to avoid suspicion from himself, the accused thought. However, the incident was exposed, and the police have arrested him with a friend and the latter’s wife, whom the accused had confided in.

Upon interrogation, the police found that the two met in a temple from there five months back. Thereafter, Pollola Vigenesh aka Chinttu befriended her on Instagram. They started talking, and one day he eloped with the minor girl. The couple started living in Kanchanbagh, and the accused made physical relationship with the minor.

One day, Chintu saw minor talking to an another man. He asked her not to speak with other men, which she had agreed to, but proposed him to marry. They started having frequent fights over the marriage. After which, the accused made up his mind to kill the minor. He thought that he can avoid suspicious of minor's death if he would marry her.

What Happened on The Day of Marriage?

The couple got married on November 8 by exchanging garlands at home. The accused asked the minor to inform her mother about which she did. On the same evening when his friend and wife were not at home, he slammed the minor's head against the wall, leaving her unconscious. After which, he strangulated her using a saree, which caused her instant death.

When the friend and his wife returned home, the accused informed her about what happened. To get rid of the body, they took it on a scooty to ORR, and threw it beside the road at the garbage on Srisailam highway, and covered with waste papers and returned to their house.
